Well, it's 2014! Eleven days in, in fact. This week we've been cooking primarily citrus - grapefruit and page oranges direct from a LocalHarvest farm in Florida - but we're also going through some of the fruit we prepped this summer, so a big batch nectarine and some strawberry-basil got made up too. We learned last year that getting to the end of the year without a backlog is a bad plan, because you never know when you're going to get a freeze. We also learned to spring for the warmer storage unit. :)
We're already booking up for summer shows, and our first shows for the year are just weeks away - the Chocolate Festival here in Portland January 24-26, and the Truffle Festival in Eugene on the 26th.
